WHAT ARE WE LEARNING NOW?

So yeah our society is looking a lot like the one from Fahrenheit 451 apart from the firemen burning down houses and books being  illegal. I mean it's not a bad thing it could sometimes be very convenient like you don't have to wake up early and go to school you could just do your work from the comfort of your home. I see no problem with the way we are going, but I do know there can be somethings that may be problematic like for exapmle there might be some people who need the help of teachers or could easily forget about their wok or put it aside and they have no one to help stay on track and so they could do their work. Those are the only problems that I see, but other than that I'd say it's fine.

THE RIGHT TO READ

Dear Mr. President So I've herd that you are trying to ban reading. First of all that is just really dumb that is one of the main sources of our education and taking that away will just leave the future of American to a bunch of uneducated people and we both know that is not what we want for the future generations. I also see no benefit to not letting people read and we know from history that if we want to stop people from doing something they are going to find a way to do it (beer ban of the 20's Prohibition). Yes not allowing people to read is just a dumb idea and it would be a great idea if you don't ban reading I mean it's a no brainier. From Jeronimo Ramirez

F 451 AND ME

I've noticed some connections between what we read Fahrenheit 451 and real life experiences. So here's 3 of 'em 1. In Fahrenheit 451 Clarisse is coincided weird for taking the time to notice things like the dew of grass in the morning or flowers and stuff and I remember when I used to walk to my elementary school with my sister and her friend and there was a bird nest that we would always pass by and one day it was gone I think someone must have knocked it down because the birds were gone as well and when I told my sister she called me weird for noting something so insignificant. 2. In Fahrenheit 451 Mildred is so obsessed with technology and that is what she cares about and I know some people that are just like her for example I'm not gonna say who specifically, but I remember when one of my friends earbuds broke during class and he was so frustrated that he couldn't listen to them he said that he didn't want to listen to anybody and just wanted to get out of

F 451 SUMMARY PART 1

Fahrenheit 451 takes place in the future where firemen burn down houses and people find it weird  take time to smell the flowers(metaphorically speaking) and reading books is illegal. Our main character is named Guy Montag who is a fireman that burns down houses with books in them. This future is a future that is dominated with technology and conformity as in  if you don't act a certain way you are labeled weird(Clarisse) or even get in trouble with the law. First we learn that Montag is a fireman who burns down houses and one day he meets a girl named Clarisse who is an odd person(according to how people behave in this book) that changed his view of the wold and that if he was actually happy or not. We learn that his wife a woman that cares more about her televisions(screens) and seashells(earbuds) more than anthing else. Montag realizes that he is not happy and wants to be. One day Montag goes on a burning mission to burn down a house and there is when he sees a woman that is

451 QUESTIONS, 20 ANSWERS

1.I think Bradbury chose it because it has to do with one of the big like themes of fire and stuff. 2.It tells us that Montague is a type of person that can be bad well that's an assumption. 3.I guess he chose to symbolism the hose as a python because pythons and the fire hose are usually associated with evil and bad things in general. 4.I'm guessing the symbolization had something to do with heat and or fire. 5. McClellan is first described as pale and wearing a white dress you know like something that stands out like a contrast to everything else. 6.I guess the names are significant because one is like generic and the other one is like unique 7.She asks him about many thing and he was like confused at first you know he found it weird and when she asked him if he was happy he had to convince himself or think about it. 8.3 weird things were that firemen burn down houses, it's against the law to read or have books, and they had to stretch out billboards so people coul

BREAKING THE LAW

I believe it is wrong to break the law when you are planning to do something that is going to harm someone and or threaten someone's life. I believe it's right to break the law when you must. For example I remember watching a video about how a life guard was fired because he saved a mans life( I know it sounds crazy). Apparently they had like areas they had to guard and the life guard saw someone drowning, but it wasn't in his area and he was not to leave, but no one was in the area where the man was drowning so he took it upon himself to save the man even though he was breaking the rules. Times like those is when I believe you could break the law. Oh and another example is a man went back into his house(that was burning) to save his dog,but he ended up getting arrested I don't know why ,but he did I guess the firefighters weren't too happy on that one.

GATSBY ESSAY

Gatsby's desire for "success" is evidence of a obsession and because of that he is an outlier. Gatsby's idea of success is to finally be with his love Daisy, he is willing to do anything to achieve that "success" he has ambition ,but as we know that can be both good and bad.  First off an example of Gatsby's obsessive behavior is when he buys a mansion  that was as close to Daisy's as possible. He went out of his way to get as close to her even going as far as buying a whole mansion just to be somewhat closer to her which is a weird thing to do(outlier). Another example is when Gatsby fires all of his servants because they were talking rumors about Daisy. This sort of behavior is strange an d caring so much about someone to the pint where you would do something of this caliber is something that someone with an obsession would do. Finally Gatsby based his whole life around Daisy. The whole reason he wanted to become rich was to be a somebody, but not

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH

I am demonstrating strength in a tough time by doing my work right now. As you know because of the virus that is going around we aren't in school and we aren't getting told to do our work and that could be tough for some people who loose focus easily and because there is no one constantly reminding us to do our work it is up to us. Yeah I will try to keep going with this blog even though I might loose focus on doing them I'll try to.

DEAR MENTOR

Dear mentor So I'm talking to you for an interview about a topic. So my topic is about what animal would be the top animal after humans are gone, I'd make my bet on birds like parrots becuse they're smart and would interact with the world like with their hand-like feet and stuff. That is what I wanted to ask you.

WORTHY MENTORS

So the people I think that are pretty good at my topic are 1.the dude at national geographic because they know a lot about animals 2. Tierzoo a youtuber who does videos about animals and even did one about the topic i'm doing 3.Animal planet yup they are pretty informed when it comes to animals and they are someone who'd I'd ask.

RESOURCES

My big question was that is humans weren't around what would be the top animal like the apex predictor. LEARNING IN THE AGE OF CORNAVIRUS

So to me this really don't affect me. I feel like they are making this whole thing into a big deal. The leaning part of it is pretty much the same like my teachers are still doing the same thing like you know it's not a big deal it's whatever.

CUE THEME MUSIC

The central message of the book is about a guy named Gatsby trying to at his love (Daisy) and in doing so is obsessed with her and the past trying to relive it and always looking towards it. I believe that this is the theme because that's what the book is about. It's about Gatsby that is in love with Daisy tying to relive the past when he was with her, but then that consumes his whole life and becomes an obsession so his ambition becomes bad.

PREVIEW OF GATSBY ESSAY

Gatsby's desire for success is evidence of obsession and he is an outlier. Gatsby's idea of success is being with Daisy. Gatsby's whole life he was trying to get with Daisy and throughout the whole time he was only focused on the one goal which is borderline obsession. Gatsby mentions in the book that the whole reason he wanted to become to become rich is so he can be someone because a nobody would be able to get with Daisy. No normal person would go through all of that for a person which is why he's an outlier he is odd. Another example is when Gatsby buy the Mansion that is close to Daisy's place. He had the choice to do whatever, but he is so obsessed with Daisy that he chooses to get closer to her, he has ambition ,but that could be good or bad and this case it's bad. Finally he is not satisfied with everything he's got, he finally accomplished getting rich and living a life that anyone would do anything for, but even all that is not enough for him. Gatsb

WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT GATSBY

1. Gatsby was an ok person aside from the fact that he was a simp( a man who tries too hard to get at a women and usually fails to get her). The reason I say that is because he literally did all that just for Daisy like buy a mansion close to hers and always think about her and stuff. 2. Yes Nick is honest with honest with him self because you can just see in the book I mean the beginning is Nick being honest about who he is. He hangs out with dishonest people because he somehow got into their problems and it just sort of happend like a domino affect. He respects Gatsby because he sees him as a friend. 3. It means that Daisy and Tom are terrible people who somehow gets away from taking responsibility from their actions. And yes I agree with this description. 4.No I don't understand Daisy's behavior I don't agree with her choices  and no I don't want anything to do with her. 5.This means that there is really nothing you can do from the past except learn from it i

GATSBY CHAPTER 9 NOTES AND THOUGHTS.

In chapter 9 it's just about the after math of when Wilson shot Gatsby and then killed himself. So we found out the Daisy and Tom left. Then Nick was telling people about the death of Gatsby to try and show up to his funeral, but no one seemed to care, except his dad. No one showed up because they didn't really care about him. So after that Nick just goes around talking to people/looking around you know falling action and that's it. So yeah The Great Gatsby was an ok book not something that would usually interest me, but it was an ok book I guess.
