GETTING TO KNOW YOU

I think it is pretty important to know people around you because it could change the way things are going for example the class might be really boring and you might not enjoy it at all and then coming to the class begins to feel like a burden, but if you have friends or know people in that class then things would be not as boring and if you need help you could just ask them if you do not want to ask the teacher so that is why I think knowing people around you is important and we even talked about it during class like how would it affect you. Anyways that is all I have to say.

THE FIRST 50 PAGES

So my literature analysis book is called "Gentle Ben," by Walt Morey and it is about a boy who became friends with a bear named Ben. So far it's pretty cool the bear doesn't belong to him, but to some guy named Fog Benson who got the bear when it was a cub by killing the mother. Fog doesn't even care for the bear though and he barley feeds it witch is why it is so skinny and why the boy wants to keep him. The book is pretty interesting so I like it.

TODAY I ASKED A QUESTION

So today they told us to write down a question we had no matter how dumb it may seem as long as it is a genuine question. I guess my question is can animals think like people. I mean do they know that the are animals or do they just have survival in their minds like are they sentient or can they think and have fun, laugh , enjoy things, etc. Well anyways I know that might sound dumb, but it's my question.

I AM NOT ? ENTITLED TO MY OPINION

So this one was really confusing because it talked about the rights we had, but also said that we aren't really entitled to an opinion. I don't know much of it ,but it was confusing it was more philosophical type of reading.

A SECOND HELPING OF THE SOCRATIC SEMINAR

So the Socratic seminar helped you learn form a different perspective it makes you question the things you know you know stuff like that. So that's about it.

A SOCRATIC SEMINAR

The Socratic method is kinda like a method of teaching that doesn't use traditional learning stles if questions the student and makes them think for them selves. I feel like this is a pretty cool way of learning and it is different than anything I have done before.

HOW I READ

I usually like reading books that are in the future sort of a post-apolitical future for example I really like Fahrenheit 451 because of the setting and how the author explained the place also because it is in the future. It was these types of books that I actually enjoyed and read through the whole thing.

HACK TO SCHOOL

This class is about English and it sort of philosophical. The easiest part of this class is how  the techer explained things. The hardest part of the class is the technology stuff like how to make a video show in your blogs and things along these lines. I've learned that if the teacher is entertaining then the class is as well. My big question is what am I going to do after High school.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES OF A HACKER

The author's use of diction, syntax, and tone is used effectively because for the diction he uses words that are easy to understand, that grab your attention, and words that have deeper meaning. For the syntax the author puts the paragraph together like to show progressions like he uses "damn kids they're all alike" at the end of his paragraphed and uses it as an insult, but then uses in a later one as a compliment or he takes pride of it.Finally the tone the author shows that he is confident and takes pride in what he is rather than felling bad about it he talked how they're all alike, but he makes it into a compliment.

CONSCIENCE OF A HACKER

I think that this reading was pretty cool. I think it's cool because it's just some kid who is mad about something and he actually writes something about it and explained his opinion on the topic and he did it in a pretty cool way as well. That's pretty much all I have to say.

RICHARD COREY

MY BIG QUESTION

Who came up with the concept of money and why.

NOW I REMEMBER

So I memorized the Richard Corey poem and I actually did use like one of the memorization tricks that we talked about and I used some tricks from the article,"Training Like A Memory Champ." Anyways the way I memorized the poem is that I would be doing something like watching t.v and when it would go on commercial I would just bring out the poem and read it until the show came back and I would do this daily and with other stuff as well while I waited. I just took my time and read it while I had time.

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO YOUR OPINION

I suppose that no one is entitled to their opinion. I believe this because some one might call your opinion stupid or something along those lines and you don't have to agree with them and they don't have to agree with them so if our opinions don't even matter then why do we have them. Or some people don't even have opinions and they just follow the crowd. Well anyways that's about all I have to say.

WELCOME

I should have made this post the first one, but here we are. Well anyways welcome to my blog I will just write about articles that I read and my opinions on them and other stuff related to that so hopefully reading my posts will be interesting enough to read, but yeah welcome to my blog

THE RIGHTS TO YOUR OPINIONS

This reading talked about your rights and how some of them are irreverent and other things related to  that and that how some rights were kinda weird. This reading was basically taking the rights to a very literal way like for example the reading was talking about how the people had a right for their week-being,but it took it to the most literal way by saying that once the person is dead they wont have their well-being and how that breaks the law or something along those lines.

SOCRATIC METHOD

The reading ,"THE SOCRATIC METHOD" talked about the Socratic method and how it encourages more though in to answers and gets the students to sort of relate to the question or problem. It also said that we are using the Socratic method in our class so that's pretty cool I suppose and I my opinion on the Socratic method is that it is different than any other way if teaching that i heard of,but it sounds interesting and that's pretty much all I have to say.

TRAINING LIKE A MEMORY CHAMPION

So I just read the article "Train Your Brain Like A Champion" and it talked about many ways or methods we could use to memorize things. It was pretty interesting to the point where I actually read it all. It did give advise and stuff and I could see myself using this in real life like in an upcoming assignment about memorizing a poem. Anyways that is about all I have to say
