Fahrenheit 451 takes place in the future where firemen burn down houses and people find it weird take time to smell the flowers(metaphorically speaking) and reading books is illegal. Our main character is named Guy Montag who is a fireman that burns down houses with books in them. This future is a future that is dominated with technology and conformity as in if you don't act a certain way you are labeled weird(Clarisse) or even get in trouble with the law. First we learn that Montag is a fireman who burns down houses and one day he meets a girl named Clarisse who is an odd person(according to how people behave in this book) that changed his view of the wold and that if he was actually happy or not. We learn that his wife a woman that cares more about her televisions(screens) and seashells(earbuds) more than anthing else. Montag realizes that he is not happy and wants to be. LITERATURE ANALYSIS BOOK#2
The theme of this book the friendship between a bear and his owner. The tone of the story is of hope and to show that not all things are one way like a bear. and the setting is in Alaska So next after the boy Mark comes back from the bear Ben which he had been with all day he finds out that the owner of the bear Ben is in need of money so he is going to sell the bear. Mark then mention that e wants the bear the parents think about it and then start to argue. His mom wants to let him have it because she saw them together all the time,but first she was afraid watching from a distance with a gun ready to shoot ,but then later found out Mark and Ben had a special bond. They sent Mark up to his room,but he was secretly listening and found out that he had a brother called Jamie and that he died from tuberculosis and that he had the same symptoms as him like being too small for his age and too weak.
