THE POEMS OF EMILY DICKINSON

So I read them and I like that they are not long that's always a good for me you know short and sweet and the one ," Because I could not stop for Death" uses like figurative language and it does a good job of painting a picture of what they are talking about in your head by using those words and the one ,"Hope " does a good job with metaphors like comparing hope and birds.

MY TOP 3

1. Fahrenheit 451 2.of mice and men 3. The tortoise and the hair

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

So the comparison between these two conversions is that they are both ridiculous and they are kinda confusing and they contradict each other. They both are like also kinda hard to understand like they make no sense they are just kinda going back and forth with each other kinda like a parrot who just talks because it like the sound of itself talking.

WHAT'S IN THE NAME

I think the reason he had so much fun with the names because this book is not all serious and because of that he gets to mess around and he chooses to do that with the names and dialogue. His tones on the characters are one of like comedy and stuff he likes to make fun of 'em and he's trying to tell the readers what kind of people they are kinda like a personality just by their names.

TOO SICK-OR TOO WELL-TO DIE

Yossarian likes Milo syndrome because he gets to mess around with him. Like he would ask him something and he would answer vaguely and then take it back to where it started like when he asked what was wrong with him and he said he has a liver problem, then he asked him specifically what was wrong and Yossarian told him a name of the condition and when Milo asked what that meant he answered that it was a liver problem.

HUNGRY JOE MAKES SENSE

That passage means that what Hungry Joe was experiencing was something normal because what they saw or have done would have consequences on your conscious. It made sense that he would get nightmares because of all the things he has done like during those missions that would almost kill you or kill people you know like friends or something that kind of stuff will mess you up.

CATCH-22

In my words catch-22 is basically when you come across something that you can't get passed by (metaphorically speaking) like in the book if were crazy you didn't have to fight and only a crazy person would want to fight so they would send you to fight and if you were afraid of going that meant you were sane and they would make you go, it's like something you can't escape.

I SAW THE ETERNAL FOOTMAN

The yellow fog that rubs its back upon the window-panes,  The yellow smoke that rubs its muzzle on the window-panes,   Licked its tongue into the corners of the evening, I think this contributes to the poem because it shows what kind of way this poem goes. The poem uses metaphors and imagery like this to get their point around.

KILLING THE CURIOUS CAT

So if the only ones that were allowed to ask questions were the people who didn't ask question then that would just mean that no one is allowed to ask questions. I guess this would cause trouble because you would only follow and never be able to ask about anything so basically you are just someone who follows kind alike a robot.

CRAZY LIKE A FOX

He tells him he is crazy because he kinda is I don't know if he was joking around ,but he asked who was trying to kill him and he said everyone was and he even pointed out  a time when he was bombing a place people shot at him with cannons and I mean yeah it makes sense because when you are in war everyone is killing everyone and he sees it as strangers trying to kill him and he's not wrong ,but I guess he is kinda crazy because of the way he is and the things he says.

LIFE DURING WAR TIME

He describes he men that way because they are a little dishonorable and deceitful they are lairs and sort of crazy ,but in the end of it all they are still all humans and in a way they still decent and innocent as well. This makes sense because they are both of it they are lairs, but also tell the truth they are a little bit of both.

SOLDIERS OF MIS/FORTUNE

The author's tone toward Yossarian is  that he makes him feel human because usually in like movies and stuff the soldiers are like super serious and are fearless, stuff like that, but Yossarian he doesn't want to fight in the war because he knows he could get killed so he decides to stay in the hospital because life is just easier that way for him. It seems like he could just be a believable person because a lot of people don't like to do a lot of work and I'm pretty sure that if you had the chance to get out of a difficult or dangerous situation you would do anything to get out of said situation .
