SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

"The Pedestrian", by Ray Bradbury is about a man who goes for a walk in the year 2053 and is targeted for being so out place just by walking and so he is arrested. I believe that Ray Bradbury wrote ,"The Pedestrian," to write down his experience of being different and being targeted and it was his way of coping with it. His experience of getting arrested just for being different contributed to tone, character, and plot.

F 451 SUMMARY PART 1

Fahrenheit 451 takes place in the future where firemen burn down houses and people find it weird  take time to smell the flowers(metaphorically speaking) and reading books is illegal. Our main character is named Guy Montag who is a fireman that burns down houses with books in them. This future is a future that is dominated with technology and conformity as in  if you don't act a certain way you are labeled weird(Clarisse) or even get in trouble with the law. First we learn that Montag is a fireman who burns down houses and one day he meets a girl named Clarisse who is an odd person(according to how people behave in this book) that changed his view of the wold and that if he was actually happy or not.
