ON SELF RELIANCE PART 3

Emerson says," Nothing is at last scared but the integrity of your own mind."  He is saying that he believes that people are good. Emerson would rather tell the hard truth even if it would be rude. He likes to distinguish people that are just acting nice rather than actually being it. He is big on honoring our geniuses. Emerson talks about virtues and how it should be genuine and equal. He talks about how if you try to be someone else you are loosing traits about yourself. For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure. Emerson says that when people get upset and they don't know what to do they are with arguing. Emerson has different opinions on things and I think that is what makes him awesome you know.

  The theme of this book the friendship between a bear and his owner. The tone of the story is of hope and to show that not all things are one way like a bear. and the setting is in Alaska So next after the boy Mark comes back from the bear Ben which he had been with all day he finds out that the owner of the bear Ben is in need of money so he is going to sell the bear. Mark then mention that e wants the bear the parents think about it and then start to argue. His mom wants to let him have it because she saw them together all the time,but first she was afraid watching from a distance with a gun ready to shoot ,but then later found out Mark and Ben had a special bond.
