MY LEARNING FALL AND RISE

  The first time I came into this class no August 12th I expected it to be a regular boring English class you know just as usual more of the same. I went and took a seat and then the teacher was telling us about how we were going to try something different than what we usually do and gave us the option of doing an open source learning or just doing a standard from the books learning. He then said that the decision was up to us and then told us to tell him to come back in as soon as we are done making our decisions and he left the class room.Well we made our decision and that was an open source learning.After we made our decision the work began. We got journals, blogs, memorizing poems, you know all that sort of stuff. At first I didn't really care for journals and viewed them as just something that needed to be done,but I later grew to not view then that way and took more time thinking about it my favorite journal topic was  was on December 9th the one about what we think might cause the fate of the dinosaur and what if it happens to us the and the one asking us how we think the future will be and I think doing these journal topic helped us  because they let us write about stuff that interest us. As for the poems such as Richard Corey, The Laughing heart, and others I always found them to be easy you know and I did get them all done. For the Blog Posts  I did always find them inserting because we get to discus about different topics, my favorite blog post was So This Guy Goes For A Walk because we got to write about a story that I actually found interesting. The time when I felt that there was the most tension was when we were preparing for our interviews. The work you know like preparing with our resume, list of blog posts/ journal topics and references seemed like a lot to me and I did sort of feel discouraged,but I just decided to keep going at it even if it was at a slow pace I would keep going and I learned that if I wanted something done I actually had to start on it and once I start I just keep going at it and I know that may seem obvious,but it helped me. The way I built routines to complete work so I can succeed was actually pretty simple just do it you know get the work done as soon as possible so you don't have to worry about it later. I think that I am different form back in August because I now have the experience to know how this class works and what I need to do in order to succeed.
